USING NUTRITION TO CONTROL HEALTHCARE COSTS
Plano, Texas 3/1/2012 - PensionBenefits is now offering strategy and communication skills
to assist employers who want to improve the wellness of their employees.
Healthy employees are more productive and have a lower utilization of healthcare services.
This program works wonders for those willing
to make life-style changes (sustainable weight loss, lower cholesterol,
improve sensitivity to insulin are some of the benefits).
Former President Bill Clinton adopted these changes upon the advice of his personal physicians.
He was featured in the CNN program, 'The Last Heart Attack'.
The success of this nutrition program is documented by the following three researchers:
Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn developed a 12-year (1985-1997) clinical study at Cleveland Clinic.
Seventeen heart patients participated in this program.
The results of his study were documented in his book, Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease.
Dr. Neal Barnard recommended the same nutrition program in order to reverse diabetes.
His research was documented in Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes.
Dr. Colin Campbell,
a long-time bio-medical researcher with Cornell University,
labeled our common diseases
(heart disease, stroke, obesity, diabetes, breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer)
as diseases of affluence,
caused primarily by the foods we eat.
He documented his research and that of others on nutrition and diseases in his book, The China Study.
While not everyone will embrace this program,
those who do will see the benefits within weeks.
It is important to offer this option to your employees.
Your organization will enjoy higher productivity
from healthy employees with lower healthcare utilization.
The success of this program depends on effective education,
support groups and communication of success stories.

Diversity is part of our lives! It is important to understand its impact in everyday settings, including the workplace. Even today, we continue to see discrimination and insensitivity in job sites across the nation. Some of these have lead to costly lawsuits and fines. On the other hand, when upper management implements diversity awareness programs, a better working environment is created for its employees. This allows employees to be more creative in serving the organization's customers. Organizations who tap their diverse talents can even turn negative headlines into praises and recognition.
PensionBenefits can be an asset to your organization by providing the training to improve your employee's working environment. Our unique 3-part series enables employees to identify, understand, and accept all major diversity issues. In addition to the traditionally discussed diversity topics such as race, generation and gender, we also analyze individual passions and irritants as well as more sensitive issues such as sexual orientation, political affiliation, and religious belief.
Our unique program ensures a win-win situation for your employees, customers and the entire organization.
